Throughout my career as a landscape and floral painter, I have found peace and solace in nature, which has been the wellspring of my creativity. Animals and traveling are also rich sources of inspiration for me. I find design everywhere, and I am driven to capture the images on canvas. I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, MD in 1978, then went on to earn an MBA from Loyola College Maryland. Throughout a long career in finance, I continued to pursue my passion for painting and design. I currently work out of a studio in Unison, Virginia, where I provide private instruction as well as works on commission. I recently began working with heavier canvasses to create functional art in the form of floor cloths. My garden has always inspired my painting, and I also express my love of blooms through floral arrangements that I create for private events, fundraisers, and competitions.
